Juno is a celestial body located in the Gliese 832 star system. It has an orbital period of roughly 1,700 days, and has no atmosphere. It was registered as an extrasolar planet in 2118 by advanced instruments located on Earth, and then as a subplanet in 2150. Juno was colonized by Glieseian settlers in 2439, and was then signed into the Union Charter in 2444, as an official colonial body. Due to the excess population of 17,000 settled on Juno, the Union has been repeatedly petitioned in the past 25 years to register Juno as a colonial planet, to establish an individual Junoian defense central command, and to add the body to the system map on the Glieseian Colonial Defense Authority's symbol, and every other planet's fact sheets.
