The Cur'Iesea system, located in the Joldora Range, is a colonized system of the United Confederation of Systems inhabited by a small temporary population of miners from the Jri'Loveq system. With three barren rocky worlds and two asteroid belts, the system has thus far proven useful for little more than mining activities, though proposals are occasionally floated for the possibility of terraforming one of the worlds - the cost and time needed for such a plan ussually preventing any proposal from gaining any traction however. The Cur'Iesea system is named in part as tribute to the starship Curie, an exploration vessel of the Eratosthenes Project which played a major role in resolving an ecological disaster on the Jril homeworld and which has become something of a mythical icon in Jril culture in the succeeding years.
